Reliance Infrastructure - ClickHouse Administrator

We are seeking an experienced ClickHouse Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of our on-premise ClickHouse clusters. You will be responsible for architecture, deployment, performance optimization, security, and disaster recovery, working closely with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure highly available and scalable database environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and maintain on-prem ClickHouse clusters with a focus on high availability and scalability

- Install, configure, and upgrade ClickHouse servers and client tools

- Implement and maintain security policies, including TLS, authentication, RBAC, and auditing

- Monitor cluster health, perform capacity planning, and tune performance

- Develop and execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet compliance and infrastructure requirements

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

- 5+ years of database administration experience, including at least 1 year working with ClickHouse

- Strong Linux system administration skills (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu)

- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and/or Python

- Solid understanding of networking, storage (SAN/NAS), and virtualization technologies

- Familiarity with security frameworks (LDAP, Kerberos, TLS)

- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)

- ClickHouse Certified Developer certification is a plus

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
