Key Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure & Automation : Provision and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) using IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Build, deploy, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline software releases.
- System Reliability & Security : Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and implement security, compliance, and data protection best practices.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog) to analyze trends and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Collaboration : Work with developers, QA, and product teams to optimize deployment workflows in an Agile environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- AWS Expertise : In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda).
- Scripting & IaC : Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go, and expertise in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Containerization : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- CI/CD Tools : Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Operating Systems : Strong command of Linux administration.
Typical Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud engineering role.
