Role : Head, Applications & Data Platforms

Location : Head Office, Goregaon, Mumbai

Role Summary :

Lead and manage the organization's Loan Origination System (LOS), 20+ business and customer applications, mobile applications, and Azure-based data platforms. Responsible for application architecture, development, support, project delivery, vendor management, data platforms, compliance, and operational excellence to support business growth and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and manage LOS, customer-facing applications, mobile applications, and enterprise data platforms.

- Lead application architecture, development, enhancements, integrations, releases, and production support.

- Manage Azure Data Lake, Databricks, data pipelines, MIS, analytics, and reporting platforms.

- Drive project delivery, change requests (CRs), upgrades, and application modernization initiatives.

- Manage application and data vendors, including resources, contracts, SLAs, performance, and costs.

- Ensure timely resolution of production issues, L3 support, RCA, and service improvements.

- Ensure closure of security vulnerabilities, VAPT findings, audit observations, and compliance requirements.

- Support RBI, banking, MFI, and internal governance requirements.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Provide periodic updates to management and governance committees.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or equivalent Engineering discipline.

- Minimum 16+ years of experience in application development, architecture, delivery management, and data platforms.

- Strong experience in .NET, SQL Server, APIs, Mobile Applications, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Data Pipelines.

- Proven experience in vendor management, project management, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

- Strong communication, negotiation, conflict management, and governance skills.

- Prior experience in Banking, NBFC, or Microfinance domain preferred.

- Familiarity with RBI regulations, audits, information security, and compliance frameworks.
