Job Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management :
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of all internal IT systems, including laptops, networks, applications, and general IT tools.
- Ensure consistent and reliable IT support across all geographies, providing timely assistance to employees.
- Manage and optimize internal tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Lead the rollout of new IT initiatives and updates, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
Security and Compliance (SecOps) :
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect company data and assets, including cloud security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including SOC, GDPR, ISO, and other relevant frameworks.
- Lead security audits and assessments, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
- Manage security incident response.
Financial Operations (FinOps) :
- Manage and optimize software and cloud infrastructure spending, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor and track software license usage, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
- Oversee the financial aspects of IT procurement and vendor management.
Vendor Management and Procurement :
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring favorable terms and optimal service delivery.
- Evaluate and select new IT tools and technologies, conducting thorough due diligence and cost-benefit analysis.
Team Leadership and Management :
- Lead and manage a team of IT support and security professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional development.
- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively.
Communication and Collaboration :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters, communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment between IT infrastructure and development needs.
Ideal Candidate :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a strong track record of managing IT operations, security, and financial aspects.
- Deep understanding of modern IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and security principles.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC, GDPR, and ISO.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience managing teams across multiple timezones.
Desired Skills :
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL).
- Experience with FinOps tools and methodologies
