About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer with 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Android application development. This role will involve designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality Android mobile applications. Strong expertise in Android development, application architecture, API integration, debugging, performance optimization, and production deployment.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of professional experience in Android application development.

- Strong hands-on Android development experience is mandatory.

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.

- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, Android application lifecycle, UI components, layouts, and navigation.

- Experience developing and deploying production applications on the Google Play Store.

- Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, API integration, and third-party SDK integration.

- Good understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.

- Experience with Git and modern version-control practices.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Good working knowledge of React Native is required.

- Ability to understand, debug, maintain, and contribute to an existing React Native codebase.

- Good understanding of React Native components, navigation, API integration, and state management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance Android applications.

- Take complete ownership of Android application development from requirement analysis to production deployment.

- Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code following Android development best practices.

- Integrate REST APIs, third-party APIs, SDKs, payment gateways, push notifications, analytics, and other mobile services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application crashes, performance issues, memory leaks, UI issues, and other production problems.

- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and engineering practices.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, responsiveness, and reliability.

- Implement new features and enhancements based on business and product requirements.

- Work with existing React Native applications and contribute to feature development and maintenance when required.

- Experience working on SaaS, enterprise, or large-scale mobile applications.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Experience working on both Android and iOS applications.

- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party SDKs.
