Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester with strong Manual Testing expertise (70%) and hands-on Automation experience (30%) in the Banking or FinTech domain. The ideal candidate will have experience testing financial applications, payment systems, or core banking platforms, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Manual Testing (70%) :

- Analyze business requirements, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories specific to banking/financial applications

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios

- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing

- Validate APIs, payment workflows, transaction processing, and reconciliation processes

- Conduct database validation and backend testing

- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (RBI, PCI-DSS, KYC, AML where applicable)

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams

Automation Testing (30%) :

- Develop and maintain automation test scripts

- Automate regression and smoke test suites

- Work with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)

- Perform API automation testing (Rest Assured / Postman / Karate)

- Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

- Contribute to framework enhancement and test coverage improvement

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Manual Testing (48 years overall QA experience preferred)

- Experience in Banking or FinTech applications (Core Banking, Payments, Lending, Cards, Digital Banking)

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

- SQL knowledge for database validation

- API testing experience

- Hands-on experience in automation tools (Selenium with Java/Python preferred)

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

Domain Knowledge :

- Understanding financial transactions lifecycle

- Knowledge of payment gateways, Trade lifecycle, Investment advisory.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data security standards

Experience Required :

- 5 to 10 Years (with relevant Banking/FinTech experience)
