Responsibilities :

- Leadership in Test Planning and Execution : Oversee and guide the planning, development, and execution of test cases and scenarios for both manual and automated testing.

- Expertise in Automation Tools : Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in using Selenium and other relevant test automation tools.

- Programming Skills : Possess strong coding skills in Java and Python, enabling the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts.

- Test Case Development and Management : Develop comprehensive test cases and manage them effectively. Ensure the documentation and tracking of test cases are in line with the project requirements.

- Quality Assurance : Uphold the highest standards of quality in testing, identifying bugs and issues, and working closely with the development team to resolve them.

- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Utilize excellent analytical abilities to dissect complex software systems, identify potential areas of risk, and provide effective solutions.

Professional Qualifications :

- Holds a B. Tech or M. Tech or equivalent degree.

- Having power sector domain knowledge is a plus.

Skills Required :

- Experience of 5 to 8 years in Automation and Manual Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience of Selenium with Java or other test automation tools.

- Experience in writing and reviewing test cases and scenarios.

- Experience with test case management tools (viz. Zephyr Scale, Bugzilla, Jira, etc.)

- Experience in generating automation test reports.

- Proven track record of successful project deliveries in a Test Lead role.

- Experience in designing test strategies and test plans.

- Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment.

- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and life cycle.

- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team effectively.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing.

- Knowledge of source version control tool like GIT.

- Knowledge of databases like Postgres or MSSQL is a plus.

- Knowledge of industrial protocols is a plus.
