Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join one of our largest Supply Chain clients. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of IoT and security platforms through a balanced combination of automation and manual testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on automation expertise, and the ability to contribute to building and enhancing a scalable test automation framework.

The position will involve a minimum 60 :40 split between automation and manual testing, with opportunities to influence testing strategy and bring fresh perspectives on new application features.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and UI-based applications using Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG

- Perform manual testing to validate new features, integrations, and user workflows

- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of automation frameworks for IoT and security platforms

- Write and maintain test scripts using Python and JavaScript

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define test scenarios

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution

- Validate IoT platform behavior, data flows, and device interactions where applicable

- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements

- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve application quality, usability, and performance

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field

- 3- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering with both manual and automation testing

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG

- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation scripting

- Experience testing web, mobile, and UI-based applications

- Working knowledge of Git and its use within CI/CD pipelines

- Foundational understanding of IoT platforms and applications

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Certifications in Software Testing or Quality Assurance

- Experience with version control and collaboration tools

- Knowledge of security testing practices and vulnerability validation

- Exposure to testing within supply chain or IoT ecosystems

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
