Quality Assurance Manager - Power Automate

Job Description :

Team Leadership and Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of automation testers and QA professionals.

- Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

- Provide technical guidance on automation best practices, frameworks, and tools.

Automation Strategy and Execution :

- Develop and implement automation testing strategies aligned with business and project objectives.

- Plan and manage automation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

- Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Test Automation Framework & Operations :

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reusable automation frameworks.

- Ensure integration of automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

- Monitor and optimize automation coverage, execution speed, and reliability.

Defect and Issue Management :

- Act as an escalation point for complex automation-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.

- Define and enforce defect management and root cause analysis processes to minimize recurrence.

Compliance and Documentation :

- Ensure automation processes comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, scripts, and processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with development teams, QA leads, and business stakeholders to understand testing needs.

- Communicate automation progress, risks, and recommendations effectively to leadership.

Continuous Improvement :

- Drive innovation in automation practices, including AI-driven and cloud-based testing.

- Conduct training sessions and promote best practices within the team.

Risk Management :

- Identify and mitigate risks in automation processes.

- Ensure data integrity and security during automated testing.

Quality Assurance & Defect Management :

- Serve as the escalation point for complex automation and testing issues, ensuring timely resolution.

- Define and enforce defect management processes, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.

- Monitor quality metrics and establish KPIs to measure automation effectiveness and overall product quality.

Compliance, Documentation & Standards :

- Ensure automation processes comply with organizational policies, industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, workflows, scripts, test cases, and operational procedures.

- Establish and enforce quality assurance standards, processes, and controls across projects.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration :

- Partner with development teams, QA leads, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand automation and testing requirements.

- Communicate automation progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders.

- Provide regular reporting on automation maturity, coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.

- Research and implement innovative testing approaches, including AI-assisted testing, RPA enhancements, and cloud-based automation solutions.

- Promote best practices and establish a culture of learning and innovation within the QA organization.

Risk Management & Security :

- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with automation processes and testing activities.

- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and security during automated testing and workflow execution.

- Implement controls to minimize operational and quality risks across automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or related disciplines, with at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, and workflow automation solutions.

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.

- Experience integrating automation solutions with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.

- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
