QA Manager - Automation Testing

Role Overview :

As a QA Manager specializing in Automation Testing, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your day-to-day will involve leading a team of automation engineers, designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with development, product, and project management teams. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of best practices in automation testing, improving test coverage, and reducing time-to-market. Your work will directly impact the user experience by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software, ultimately contributing to increased customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing guidance on test automation strategies, tools, and techniques to enhance their skills and productivity.

- Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies and frameworks, aligning them with project goals and timelines to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and early detection of defects.

- Oversee the execution of automated test suites, analyze test results, and generate detailed reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders to improve software quality.

- Drive the continuous improvement of automation testing processes, identifying opportunities to optimize test execution, reduce test cycle times, and enhance overall testing efficiency.

- Manage and maintain the test automation infrastructure, ensuring its stability, scalability, and security to support the growing needs of the organization.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing, evaluating and recommending new tools and techniques to enhance our testing capabilities.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex testing issues.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
