Job Title: QA Engineer (SAP Hybris)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer (SAP Hybris) to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in testing SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications, including both manual and automation testing, with hands-on experience in UI and API automation. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP Hybris applications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright.

- Develop and execute API automation tests using Postman or REST Assured.

- Validate SAP Hybris components including:

1. OCC APIs

2. Backoffice

3. HAC

4. ImpEx

5. Promotion Engine

6. Order Management workflows

- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using JIRA.

- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Analyze server logs, API responses, browser network traces, and application behavior to troubleshoot issues.

- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-10 years of overall software QA experience.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience testing SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce) applications.

- Strong understanding of SAP Hybris architecture and commerce workflows.

- Experience with:

1. Playwright (UI Automation)

2. Postman or REST Assured (API Testing)

- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages:

1. Java

2. Python

3. TypeScript

4. JavaScript

- Experience with Git version control.

- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Xray (or similar test management tools).

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience testing large-scale eCommerce platforms.

- Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing.

- Exposure to cloud-based environments and modern DevOps practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
