Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing

- Execute automation testing scripts where applicable

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and resolve issues

- Participate in UAT support and ensure quality sign-off before releases

- Validate application performance, security, and usability

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and SDLC processes

- Maintain test documentation and reports

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC

- Manual testing expertise

- Test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar

- API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent

- Database testing using SQL

- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
