Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Description :

We are looking for two experienced QA Engineers with 47 years of hands-on experience in manual and/or automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of modules developed by our engineering team. The ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of understanding business requirements to create comprehensive test coverage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze user stories defined by the Product Lead and generate detailed test cases.

- Execute test cases for new modules and features.

- Periodically run regression test cases for already tested modules.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.

- Prepare and share detailed QA reports with stakeholders.

- Create and maintain test cases using Cucumber/Gherkin syntax.

- Suggest improvements to user stories and acceptance criteria to enhance clarity and testability.

- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to understand evolving project requirements.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Hands-on experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.

- Experience in Cucumber/Gherkin (BDD approach).

- Strong knowledge of regression testing and test case management.

- Experience in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar).

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in automation testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
