Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Cypress

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate

- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams to resolve issues

- Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 4-9 years of experience in QA automation and software testing

- Strong command of at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)

- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha)

- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

- Experience with version control systems like Git

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow

- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
