Role Overview :

We are seeking a QA Lead Engineer with strong expertise in automation using Playwright. The role involves leading end-to-end quality engineering efforts, building scalable automation frameworks, and ensuring high product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and lead QA strategy and overall testing efforts

- Design, develop, and scale automation frameworks using Playwright

- Establish best practices for test design, scripting, and execution

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams

- Track defects, ensure timely resolution, and improve test coverage

- Mentor QA team members and enforce quality standards

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in QA with strong automation expertise

- Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

- Experience in UI and API automation testing

- Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and STLC

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools

Good to Have :

- Basic knowledge of performance testing

- Exposure to Docker or cloud-based testing environments

- Understanding of cross-browser testing strategies

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
