Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web-based applications through effective test planning, execution, and automation. You will work closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using WebDriver IO.

- Write and execute automation scripts using JavaScript.

- Conduct REST API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through the defect lifecycle.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

- Participate in SDLC and STLC processes and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in QA testing (Manual + Automation).

- Strong experience in Manual Testing (test case design, execution, and defect reporting).

- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing using WebDriver IO.

- Proficiency in JavaScript for automation scripting.

- Working knowledge of Java (basic to intermediate level).

- Experience in REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.

- Experience in testing web-based applications.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
