Role Overview :

As an SAP MDG Lead, you will serve as the technical authority for master data governance, overseeing the end-to-end design and deployment of MDG solutions within S/4 HANA environments. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate complex data requirements into scalable architecture. Your work will directly influence the integrity and reliability of enterprise data, ensuring seamless integration across the SAP landscape and providing the foundation for informed, data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end SAP MDG solutions to ensure high-quality master data management across the enterprise.

- Configure complex workflows and data replication models to streamline data governance processes and maintain consistency across integrated systems.

- Lead full-cycle SAP implementations and provide expert-level support to resolve critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for business operations.

- Design and execute robust integration strategies between SAP MDG and other SAP or non-SAP modules to facilitate seamless data flow.

- Mentor junior team members and conduct technical reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and system performance.

- Partner with business process owners to define data governance policies and translate them into technical configurations within the S/4 HANA environment.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 9 - 13 years of extensive experience in SAP MDG, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects in S/4 HANA environments.

- Demonstrate deep expertise in configuring SAP MDG workflows, data modeling, and data replication techniques to support global business requirements.

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to troubleshoot integration challenges and optimize data governance frameworks.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver technical solutions that align with business objectives.

- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced requirements of a hybrid work environment in Bangalore.

- Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by a deep understanding of SAP best practices and data governance standards.
