Qentelli - Senior AI Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to design, build, and scale next-generation AI systems, including Agentic AI platforms, LLM-based applications, and enterprise-grade data solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, backend development, Generative AI frameworks, and cloud-native architectures, along with hands-on experience in building production-grade AI agents and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

AI/ML & GenAI Development :

- Design and develop LLM-powered applications using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph

- Build and deploy Agentic AI systems with multi-agent orchestration, tool usage, and reasoning pipelines

- Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines with vector databases

- Develop prompt engineering strategies and optimize LLM performance

Backend & API Development :

- Build scalable APIs using Python (FastAPI preferred)

- Develop microservices-based architectures for AI systems

- (Good to have) Experience in Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js

Data Engineering & ML :

- Design and implement data pipelines and feature engineering workflows

- Work with large datasets for training, evaluation, and inference

- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques

Cloud & DevOps :

- Deploy AI applications on AWS (preferred)

- Work with services like Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock

- Implement CI/CD pipelines (Git-based), Docker, Kubernetes

- Ensure scalability, monitoring, and reliability of AI systems

Agentic AI & Automation :

- Build autonomous AI agents capable of :

a. Task planning and execution

b. Tool calling and integrations

c. Multi-step reasoning workflows

d. Implement Agent Core architectures and orchestration layers

Collaboration & Architecture

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, engineering)

- Design scalable system architecture for AI platforms

- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices

Required Skills :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong programming in Python

- Experience with FastAPI / Flask

- Hands-on with :

a. LangChain / LangGraph

b. LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

- RAG pipelines & vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, pgVector)

AI & Data Skills :

- Experience in :

a. Machine Learning & Deep Learning

b. Statistical Modeling

c. Feature engineering

- Knowledge of NLP and transformer-based models

Agentic AI :

- Experience building :

a. AI agents

b. Multi-agent systems

- Workflow orchestration frameworks

Backend & Systems :

- REST API development

- Microservices architecture

- (Good to have) Java Spring Boot / Node.js

Cloud & DevOps :

- Strong AWS experience

- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

- Docker & Kubernetes

Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in AI/ML/Backend development
