Role : SAP OpenText VIM Consultant

Summary :

Qentelli is looking for an experienced SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in OpenText VIM within an SAP environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Accounts Payable (AP) processes and experience delivering at least 2 end-to-end OpenText VIM implementations.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing effective solutions, and supporting the implementation and integration of OpenText VIM with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA. The role requires strong knowledge of SAP Workflow, DP Document Types, Process Types, ArchiveLink, and OCR integration with IES (IC4S), along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, implement, and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions in SAP environments.

- Participate in and lead end-to-end OpenText VIM implementation projects, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective technical solutions.

- Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand Accounts Payable (AP) processes and optimize invoice processing workflows.

- Configure and support VIM components, including :

1. DP Document Types

2. Process Types

3. SAP Workflow

4. ArchiveLink

5. OCR integration

6. IES (IC4S) integration

- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration between OpenText VIM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.

- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance invoice automation and operational efficiency.

- Prepare functional and technical documentation, configuration documents, and process flows as required.

- Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for VIM-related incidents and enhancements.

- Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with OpenText VIM in an SAP environment.

- Proven experience in delivering at least 2 end-to-end OpenText VIM implementations.

- Strong understanding of SAP Accounts Payable (AP) processes and invoice management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Workflow, DP Document Types, Process Types, and ArchiveLink configurations.

- Experience with OCR integration and IES (IC4S).

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
