Experience : 8+ Years (3+ Years in Project Management & 5+ Years in Data Engineering / Analytics)

Job Location : Coimbatore (CBE) Local Candidates Preferred

Work Mode : Onsite / Hybrid (Based on Project)

We are looking for a strong Technical Project Manager with hands-on expertise in Data Engineering and Scrum to lead complex, data-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate should combine deep technical knowledge with strong project leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Plan, execute, and deliver data engineering & analytics projects within scope, timeline, and budget

- Define project objectives, KPIs, and success criteria

- Drive stakeholder communication and ensure alignment with business goals

- Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests effectively

Technical Leadership :

- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and QA teams to design scalable data solutions

- Oversee ETL processes, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations

- Ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture and engineering

Data Engineering & Modeling :

- Guide development of robust data pipelines using tools like Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Kafka or similar

- Design and optimize data models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Normalization)

- Implement strong data governance and security standards

Data Analytics & Insights :

- Partner with BI and Analytics teams to deliver actionable insights

- Support predictive analytics and ML-readiness initiatives

Quality Assurance :

- Establish QA frameworks for data validation, integrity, and accuracy

- Implement automated testing for data pipelines and models.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field

Technical Expertise :

- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python

- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks

- Hands-on exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP

- Strong knowledge of data modeling & architecture principles

Project Management & Agile :

- Strong hands-on experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies

- Agile certification preferred

- Experience with Jira, Confluence

- Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work with business and technical teams seamlessly
