Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master with 8+ years of experience, who has hands-on exposure to Data or Data Engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile/Scrum concepts and real-world implementation, along with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

This role requires enabling cross-functional teams working on data platforms, data engineering pipelines, analytics, and cloud-based data solutions, while driving predictable, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a Servant Leader for Scrum teams delivering Data / Data Engineering projects

- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)

- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum framework

- Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects to ensure clear backlog prioritization

- Remove impediments and proactively manage risks and dependencies

- Enable predictable sprint delivery, velocity tracking, and continuous improvement

- Support delivery governance, metrics, and Agile reporting

- Act as a strong interface between clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams

- Drive Agile maturity and promote a culture of accountability and transparency.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of overall experience with proven role as a Scrum Master

- Mandatory experience handling Data / Data Engineering projects, such as :

- Data Engineering pipelines (ETL / ELT)

- Data Analytics / BI platforms

- Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Big Data ecosystems

- Strong knowledge of Agile & Scrum frameworks, principles, and implementation

- Experience with Agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, Predictability)

- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to drive delivery in complex, fast-paced environments
