About the Role :
We are looking for a seasoned QA Practice Head to lead and scale our Quality Assurance function across multiple projects and accounts.
This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, strategic thinking, presales expertise, and customer-facing capabilities.
You will be responsible for defining QA strategies, driving automation excellence, standardizing processes, and building high-performing QA teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership (Must-Have) :
- Define and drive the overall QA strategy across projects and accounts
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks
- Make key technology decisions including selection between Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
- Define framework architecture and ensure alignment with business and technical goals
- Integrate QA processes within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Solve complex QA challenges and ensure high-quality delivery across teams
Multi-Project / Account-Level Exposure :
- Oversee QA activities across multiple projects and client accounts
- Standardize QA processes, automation frameworks, and quality benchmarks
- Define and track quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and best practices across all QA engagements
Presales & Solutioning Experience (Critical) :
- Actively contribute to RFP responses and proposals from a QA perspective
- Perform effort estimation and resource planning for QA initiatives
- Define QA solutions and strategies tailored to client requirements
- Deliver client presentations, demos, and technical walkthroughs
Tools & Technical Expertise :
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
- Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience in integrating QA within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
AI in QA (Differentiator) :
- Exposure to emerging AI-driven QA practices such as :
1. AI-based test case generation
2. Self-healing automation frameworks
3. Test optimization using AI/ML techniques
- Ability to evaluate and implement modern QA innovations
Customer-Facing Experience :
- Conduct client workshops and requirement discussions
- Present QA strategies, roadmaps, and solutions to stakeholders
- Handle technical queries and objections from clients effectively
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted QA advisor
Capability Building & Leadership :
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, leads, and architects
- Define learning and development paths for QA teams
- Build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices
- Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
