Role Overview :

As a QA Automation Engineer at Wits Innovation Lab, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare software solutions. You will work closely with our development and product teams to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, identify defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Your work will directly impact the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our clients, ultimately contributing to better patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects accurately and efficiently to the development team, facilitating timely resolution.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure alignment on quality standards, improving overall product quality.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, performance, and security aspects, contributing to the development of high-quality software.

- Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automated testing efforts, ensuring consistent and reliable test execution.

- Perform database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance, ensuring the reliability of our data-driven applications.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies, implementing best practices and innovative testing techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

- Proven expertise in database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and performance.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in QA automation.
