Python Developer - FastAPI/Flask

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong backend development expertise. The ideal candidate should have 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python

- Build and manage APIs using FastAPI and Flask

- Work with Snowflake for data-related tasks

- Utilize Pandas for data processing and manipulation

- Perform unit testing using unittest and pytest

- Write and optimize SQL scripts

- Create, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)

- Support deployment activities involving Docker, Bamboo, and AWS (as applicable)

- Work on Python and Docker deployments in AWS environments (EC2, Lambda) when required

- Develop applications using Streamlit (if applicable)

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of backend development experience using Python

- Hands-on experience with :

a. Snowflake

b. FastAPI

c. Flask

d. Pandas

- Experience in unit testing (unittest, pytest)

- Strong SQL scripting skills

- Experience with IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) - job creation, monitoring, troubleshooting

Desired / Optional Skills :

- Docker

- Bamboo

- AWS (EC2, Docker deployments, Python deployments, Lambda)
