Python Automation Tester - PyTest/Selenium

Role Overview :

As a Python Automation Testing Engineer at Sysmind Tech, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. Your work will directly impact the user experience by identifying and resolving defects, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automation test scripts using Python, Selenium, and PyTest to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies, providing detailed reports to the development team.

- Collaborate with developers to understand software design and functionality, enabling the creation of effective and efficient test strategies.

- Develop and maintain API test automation frameworks using Python to validate RESTful APIs and ensure data integrity.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.

- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall software quality.

- Utilize SQL to validate data integrity and perform database testing.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on testability and contributing to sprint planning.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing automation testing frameworks using Python, Selenium, and PyTest.

- Proven ability to develop and execute API tests using Python and related libraries.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.

- Proficiency in using SQL for data validation and database testing.

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.

- Experience with Jupyter notebooks for test development and data analysis.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
