Solution Architect

Location : Navi Mumbai

Skills required :

- Proven experience in designing end-to-end enterprise solutions across diverse technology stacks (including application, data, infrastructure, integration, and security layers).

- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) and modeling languages like UML, ArchiMate.

- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and services on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Deep understanding of on-premise private cloud deployment model.

- Proficiency in microservices architecture, API-led integration, service mesh, container orchestration (e.g. , Docker, Kubernetes).

- Ability to integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products with in-house applications, considering scalability, maintainability, and performance.

- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated deployment.

- Expertise in security design principles, identity & access management, encryption, and regulatory compliance (e.g. , GDPR, PCI DSS).

- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate architecture decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong project leadership and collaboration skills across business and IT teams; experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.

- Exposure to enterprise integration patterns, ESB platforms, and middleware technologies.

- Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g. , RabbitMQ, Kafka) for asynchronous communication and data integration between systems.

- Knowledge of multiple programming languages (e.g. , Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.) to understand development requirements and constraints.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, and API management tools (e.g., Apigee, Kong) for system integration.

Job Profile (Detailed description of Role, Responsibilities and Functions) :

- Lead the end-to-end architecture design of enterprise-grade solutions that align with business strategies and IT standards.

Translate business requirements into architectural blueprints and detailed solution designs across multiple domains (application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security).

- Define solution architecture frameworks and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture vision and principles.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies needed to build robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Application Developers, Data Architects, and Infrastructure teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Participate in the governance process by reviewing solution designs, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, and providing technical oversight across project lifecycles.

- Analyze existing systems and technology environments to identify opportunities for improvement, modernization, or consolidation.

- Create solution roadmaps and high-level designs, outlining implementation paths, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.

- Provide architecture input into the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, vendor evaluations, and make-buy decisions.

- Guide teams during technical delivery and resolve design conflicts or complex issues that arise during implementation.

- Ensure non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability are incorporated into solutions.

- Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), prototyping efforts, and pilot deployments for innovative technologies and architectural approaches.

- Stay current with emerging technologies, architectural trends, and practices to ensure solutions remain future-ready.

- Develop technical documentation including solution blueprints, architectural patterns, and design principles.

- Mentor and guide developers, solution designers, and junior architects on architectural best practices and standards.

- Ensure that solutions are audit-ready and comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

- Engage in enterprise-wide architectural initiatives, aligning projects with digital transformation goals and business outcomes.

- Any other tasks as deemed necessary by the Bank

Qualifications & Experience :

Educational Qualifications :

- The candidate must possess a BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Electronics & Communications Engineering (or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline).

- Alternatively, candidates with an MCA, MTech, or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Communications Engineering from a recognized university or institute are also eligible.

Mandatory Certifications (Any One Required) :

- Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications :

- VMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect

- IBM Cloud Solutions Architect Certification

- Architecting with Google Cloud Platform

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate / Professional

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

- TOGAF- Certification

- Open Certified Architect (Open CA)

- Professional Cloud Solutions Architect Certification

- Red Hat Certified Architect

- Certified Microservices Architect (CMSA)

Experience Requirements :

- A minimum of 11 years of overall IT experience after completion of undergraduate education.

- Out of the total experience, at least 5 years must be in a Solution Architect role.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is mandatory
