Publicis Sapient - Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Technical skills :

Must Haves :

- Experience with QE for distributed, highly scalable systems

- Good understanding of OOPS concepts and strong programming skills in Java, Groovy or JavaScript

- 1-2+ years of automation experience in UI and API Automation

- Expert in solving technical problems

- Understanding at least one automation framework and their implementation

- Design and code core components of at least one type of framework ( Keywords , POM , BDD, TestNG , JUnit etc. )

- Ability to quickly adapt any new framework and platform with limited guidance

- Able to create custom functions and libraries with minimal support

- Good Java Programming Knowledge (OOPS concepts, basic loops, Arrays, collections, Trees, Stacks & Queues)

- Has good experience of Test Management tools like ATM, QC, etc. & Defect Management tools like Jira, QC, etc.

- Has experience on Traceability, Test Design techniques

- Proficient in writing SQL queries

- Create and adhere to QA processes setup for the project

- Able to write basic SQL queries (using joins)

- Understands and knowledgeable on APIs

- Hands-on experience working with Postman or similar tool

- Understanding of SOAP and REST principles

- Good Understanding of BDD, TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber, TestNG, Junit or similar.

- Hands-on experience in performing Request and Response Schema validation, Response codes and exceptions

- Understands NFT testing tools (good to have)

Soft Skills :

- Possess excellent Communication skills (written, verbal both formal & informal)

- Helps to create a positive, collaborative working environment for the team.

- Quick grasping and flexibility to adapt to new technologies/processes

- Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision. i.e.

- Ability to prioritize when under pressure

- Efficiently makes tough decisions and communicates them effectively.
