Role : Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions using Oracle technologies. The candidate should have strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, SQL performance tuning, stored procedures, and database development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.

- Write complex SQL queries and perform database development activities.

- Design and optimize database objects including tables, views, indexes, and sequences.

- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and query optimization.

- Analyze execution plans and identify database performance bottlenecks.

- Develop and maintain stored procedures and database packages.

- Work with application teams to support database integration and troubleshooting.

- Perform data validation, migration, and transformation activities.

- Debug and resolve database-related production issues.

- Follow database development standards, coding practices, and security guidelines.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL.

- Excellent knowledge of SQL.

- Strong experience with : Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors, Views, Indexes.

- Good understanding of Oracle Database architecture and concepts.

- Experience in SQL/PLSQL performance tuning.

- Knowledge of EXPLAIN PLAN and query optimization.

- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have :

- Oracle Forms / Reports, Oracle RAC, Oracle Performance Tuning, Data migration / ETL, Unix/Linux scripting, Python or Java, Knowledge of REST APIs and application integration, CI/CD and DevOps exposure.
