Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have :

1. SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) :

- Hands-on experience in Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot integration flows.

2. API Management & Development :

- Strong experience in API design, development, and debugging using SAP API Management or similar tools.

3. Programming :

- Proficiency in Java for custom development and troubleshooting.

4. Debugging & Troubleshooting :

- Strong analytical skills to resolve complex integration issues and performance bottlenecks.

5. Client Interaction :

- Proven experience in client-facing roles, handling workshops, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication.

Good-to-Have :

1. SAP Ariba Integration Knowledge :

- Familiarity with Ariba modules and integration via BTP/CIG.

2. SAP S/4HANA Integration :

- Basic understanding of integration patterns with S/4HANA.

3. Agile Methodology :

- Experience working in Agile environments.

4. Other SAP Technologies :

CST 2017 JD Ver 2.0

- Exposure to SAP Fiori, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), or SAP PI/PO.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

1 Integration Design & Development :

- Analyze business requirements and design robust integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

2 API Lifecycle Management :

- Develop, manage, and secure APIs; ensure compliance with best practices.

3 Troubleshooting & Support :

- Perform root cause analysis for integration failures and resolve incidents within SLA.

4 Client Engagement :

- Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and provide technical guidance to clients.

5 Documentation & Governance :

- Maintain technical documentation and KT materials and ensure adherence to governance standards.

6 Continuous Improvement :

- Identify automation opportunities and implement quick wins to enhance operational efficiency.
