Project Manager/Scrum Master - Data Domain

Description :

Experience Required :

- Overall 9+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years as a Scrum Master.

- Experience handling minimum 2 projects in the Data domain where Scrum methodology was implemented (e.g., Data Migration, ETL, or Data Engineering projects).

- Prior 2+ years of experience as a Developer or QA before moving into Scrum Master / Project Management roles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Agile delivery by facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Build and nurture self-organizing, cross-functional teams while demonstrating a Servant Leader mindset.

- Ensure adherence to Agile culture, principles, and Scrum framework across the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories when required.

- Support or guide the Product Owner, or take ownership of backlog grooming in the absence of a PO.

- Manage project delivery, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication effectively.

- Ensure teams follow Agile best practices and continuously improve delivery processes.

Required Skills & Tools :

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Redmine, and Trello.

- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.

- Experience working in data-related projects (ETL, data migration, analytics, or data platforms).

Certifications :

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

Good to Have :

- Google Cloud (GCP) certifications or exposure to cloud technologies.

- Knowledge of multiple Agile frameworks.
