We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our technology team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a DevOps environment, proficiency with tools like Jira, GitLab, and GitHub, and a passion for motivating and guiding early-career engineers to deliver high-quality work on time.

This role involves managing sprints or Kanban boards, coordinating with tech suppliers, leveraging AI tools, and ensuring seamless project delivery while supporting the CTO.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management & Delivery :

- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring timely completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.

- Manage and resolve project-related issues, escalating as needed to ensure smooth execution.

- Initiate, plan, and execute sprints or Kanban workflows, conducting kickoff and closure meetings.

- Prepare and distribute Minutes of Meeting (MoM) and ensure follow-through on action Items.

Team Management & Mentorship :

- Assign GitLab tickets to early-career engineers and follow up on daily progress to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.

- Motivate and energize team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.

DevOps & Tool Proficiency :

- Utilize Jira, GitLab, and GitHub to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure version control.

- Leverage AI tools to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.

- Review and provide feedback on team documentation to maintain high standards.

Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination :

- Support the CTO in managing relationships with various tech suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals.

- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure Seamless Collaboration.

Reporting & Analytics :

- Create and maintain detailed project reports using Microsoft Excel, providing insights into progress, risks, and performance metrics.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present updates to leadership as required.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of project management experience in a DevOps or tech environment.

- Proven expertise in Jira, GitLab, and GitHub for task and workflow management.

- Strong experience in managing and mentoring early-career engineers or DevOps teams.

- Exceptional leadership and motivational skills to drive team performance and morale.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.

- Familiarity with AI tools for project management and documentation review.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

- Experience working with tech suppliers and cross-functional teams is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum Master) is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with Kanban or Agile methodologies.
