Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 15+ years total experience with at least 8+ years in backend engineering (APIs, microservices, integration, distributed systems).

- Strong technical background in Java based backend systems

- Solid understanding of cloud native architecture and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Ability to read and interpret solution designs, technical specifications, and integration contracts.

- Proven experience managing medium to large programs with cross functional engineering teams.

Delivery Leadership :

- Strong Agile/Scrum management experience.

- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering workflow tools.

- Strong grasp of Agile metrics (velocity, throughput, quality KPIs).

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional communication, stakeholder handling, and expectation management.

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills.

- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes across globally distributed teams.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Node.js, microservices modernization, or experience guiding migrations.

- Knowledge of QA automation, performance testing tools, or observability stacks.

- Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments.
