Project Manager

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects from initiation to successful completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering strategic business initiatives while ensuring projects are completed within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, and leadership capabilities. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams, senior leadership, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution :

- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation plans, and project schedules.

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with business goals.

- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost objectives.

Stakeholder Management :

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.

- Collaborate with senior leadership, business teams, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional departments.

- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address concerns.

Project Monitoring & Governance :

- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource utilization.

- Identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks while implementing mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with organizational governance frameworks and project management standards.

- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and overall performance against defined KPIs.

Team Leadership :

- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives.

- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.

- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.

- Mentor junior project coordinators and team members where applicable.

Risk & Quality Management :

- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency.

- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.

Reporting & Documentation :

- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, MIS reports, and executive presentations.

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, change requests, and risk registers.

- Present project updates and recommendations to senior management.

Process Improvement :

- Identify opportunities to improve project management methodologies and operational processes.

- Support implementation of best practices, project governance frameworks, and PMO initiatives.

- Promote Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies based on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

- MBA or Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) will be an added advantage.

- 810 years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or PMO roles.

- Proven experience managing cross-functional and business-critical projects.

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, project governance, budgeting, and resource planning.

- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Microsoft Planner will be preferred.
