Program Manager - R&D

Position : Program Manager R&D

Location : UIDAI Bangalore Tech Centre

Education : BE/B Tech/ M.E/M Tech/MS/MCA/MSc.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving R&D based projects in the specified domain within the technology organization.

The candidate needs to have excellent software development background spanning a minimum of 10 years while having worked extensively in a research focused organization

This Leader is responsible to drive R&D activities and Projects from inception to completion within UIDAI that involve working closely with teams building solutions that demonstrate possibilities to improve the products and offerings we provide.

Work Experience :

- 10+ years of overall experience in software development practice

- At least 5 years of leadership experience with Program management for R&D based Organizations

- At least 2 years of experience with developing strategic partnerships with external entities such as Academia, Start-up ecosystem system and evolving organizations

Requirement :

- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful software programs and partnerships

- Excellent customer and UX knowledge

- Experience with creating strategic plans, PoCs / Project roadmaps for R&D departments

- Strong technical acumen and understanding of software development processes

- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and management skills

- Excellent presentation skills related to advanced technologies, concepts and products

- Must have handled programs and initiatives at a global level

Responsibilities :

Primary :

- Create and manage R&D Programs and Projects.

- Execute Programs and Strategies aligned to the business

- Understand the scope and boundaries for innovation

- Collaborate and coordinate with customers, stakeholders, ecosystem, internal and external teams

- Develop new use-cases and showcases on various industries and technologies related to the Identity domain

- Establish teams and drive the communication

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies in the identity domain

- Experience with Agile development and tools like GIT/Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira

- Coordinate with DevOps and DevSecOps, GRCP Teams

- Clear roadblocks for teams to make progress

Secondary :

- Stakeholder and community management.

- Perform documentation and presentations

- Work cross-functionally across diverse technology teams.

- Develop partnerships and ecosystem

- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
