Program Manager

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Manage risks to the delivery and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues

- Work with multiple stakeholders which includes clients as well as Management, to meet their expectations

- Oversee and be ultimately be responsible for PMs to develop, implement delivery plans, including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines

- Implement and be responsible for providing transparency to complete team including Management of team workload, resource utilisation and product management using tools such as Jira

- Identify blockages at an early stage, actively work towards resolving them, and escalate when needed to Management

- Provide proactive visibility and effectively communicate delivery targets, commitments and progress on regular basis

- Ensure efficient, effective and smooth communication and knowledge transfer within the teams with regards to the delivery commitments, changes and decisions made

Qualifications :

- 12 -15 years of experience in a software development services based IT company

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science / IT or other related discipline and relevant certifications

- Candidate should be based in Pune (or around) to be able to connect with team members in Pune office

- Candidate should be able to travel overseas from time to time to meet clients and prospective clients

Who Can Apply? (Requirements) :

- A strong experience and understanding of IT product development and project management principles

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from start to finish in a product company with a strength of 100 or more employees

- Experience in leading technical / project teams as well as dealing with clients at a global level to deliver high-quality projects, strong attention to details

- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and environments

- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
