Product Manager - API Integration

About the Role :

We are looking for a Product Manager with 2-5 years of experience and deep expertise in the general insurance domain, especially in API-based insurance integrations.

You will work closely with leading InsurTech players and insurance partners to build and scale seamless, tech-driven insurance experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the complete product lifecycle for general insurance integrations.

- Lead the integration of APIs with insurance partners, underwriters, and internal teams.

- Translate business needs into clear product specs, wireframes, and documentation.

- Monitor and optimize user funnels to improve experience and conversion.

- Collaborate with design, engineering, sales, ops, and legal teams for product delivery.

- Stay compliant with IRDAI regulations and insurance technology standards.

- Discover new product opportunities via market/user behavior analysis.

What We're Looking For :

- 2 - 5 years of product management experience in InsurTech, FinTech, or insurance.

- Hands-on experience with general insurance API integrations.

- Experience working with or in platforms like PolicyBazaar, InsuranceDekho, Turtlemint, CoverFox, Onsurity, RenewBuy, Paytm Insurance, PhonePe Insurance, Plum, Nova, or similar.

- Strong grasp of general insurance products and digital insurance ecosystems.

- Familiarity with tools like Postman, JIRA, Confluence, and basic API documentation.

Preferred Skills :

- Technical acumen or understanding of middleware/aggregator insurance platforms.

- Strong stakeholder and project management abilities.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Clear, structured communication across technical and non-technical teams.
