Product Manager / Product Analyst - Merchant Payments

Experience : 6-15 Years

Location : Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Role Overview :

We are looking for experienced Product Managers / Product Analysts with strong expertise in merchant payments and the end-to-end payments lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across merchant onboarding, payment processing, PSP integrations, settlements, and reporting, with a strong understanding of the Indian payments and UPI ecosystem.

Merchant Onboarding :

- Own and enhance merchant onboarding journeys including KYC/KYB verification

- Define workflows for PAN, Aadhaar, GST, and bank account verification

- Ensure compliance with RBI and NPCI guidelines

- Drive automation and onboarding process optimization

Merchant Payments / Seller Payments :

- Design and manage payment flows for UPI, cards, wallets, net banking, and BNPL

- Handle transaction lifecycles including failures, retries, refunds, and reversals

- Manage split payments and marketplace seller models

- Improve payment success rates and overall customer experience

PSP Integration :

- Lead integrations with banks, UPI PSPs, card networks, and payment gateways

- Define APIs, webhooks, and callback mechanisms

- Ensure secure integrations using encryption, OAuth, and API keys

- Manage routing, failover mechanisms, SLAs, and uptime

Merchant Settlement :

- Own T+0, T+1, and T+2 settlement cycles

- Define settlement logic including MDR, platform fees, and GST deductions

- Drive reconciliation, ledger management, and failed settlement handling

Merchant Reporting & Analytics :

- Define transaction, settlement, reconciliation, and GST reports

- Enable dashboards showing sales, success rates, disputes, and chargebacks

- Ensure high accuracy in financial and compliance reporting

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-15 years of experience in product management or product analysis

- Strong understanding of the end-to-end merchant payments lifecycle

- Hands-on experience with UPI, cards, wallets, and Indian payment regulations

- Experience working with API-driven systems and high-volume transactions

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background :

- Experience with large platforms such as Walmart, Paytm, Flipkart, Amazon, or similar organizations

- Exposure to large-scale fintech, marketplace, or digital payments platforms
