About the Role :

We are looking for a highly accomplished and self-directed Lead Product Designer to act as an Individual Contributor (IC) and strategic business partner.

Your primary mission will be to fill critical gaps in our team's capabilities, specifically in strategic influence, operational maturity, and future-proofing.

This role requires a Business Translator to convert business goals into a concrete design strategy and a Process Architect to establish a scalable, high-efficiency design workflow.

You will be crucial in moving design beyond aesthetics to the realm of product strategy and measurable business impact.

Qualifications :

- A portfolio that demonstrates successful delivery of world-class consumer products from initial vision through launch, with at least 6-9 years of experience in this scope.

- Proven expertise in acting as a Business Translator and Design Advocate, effectively linking design vision to quantifiable business outcomes (Strategic Business Acumen).

- Demonstrated experience in leveraging both qualitative and quantitative signals (Data Fluency) to inform, justify design choices, and successfully influence cross-functional outcomes.

- A track record of setting a bold design vision for innovative products and the ability to break large bodies of work into phased, executable plans.

- Proven ability to act as an AI/Future Pioneer, with practical experience in prompting LLMs, working with generative AI, or an intense desire to lead the design of AI-Driven UX systems.

- Exceptional craft and technical proficiency, evidenced by delivering well-polished, Advanced Functional Prototypes that set the highest bar for visual quality (Impeccable Visual & Interaction Taste).

- Experience in Design Craft Leadership and contributing to a Design System's strategic direction (Systems Thinking & Scalability).

- AI Acceleration & Fluency : Use AI tools to accelerate exploration and prototyping, and actively grow AI adoption and fluency across the design team.

- Operational Excellence : Establish and own a scalable, high-efficiency design workflow and dedicate effort to fixing existing workflow gaps and process inefficiencies.

- Team Development & Scalability : Act as a force multiplier by mentoring other designers, guiding their craft, process, and communication.

- Systems Ownership : Own the strategic direction of the Design System, ensuring the team's ability to scale UI efficiently and maintain consistency (Systems Thinking & Scalability).

- Design Function Shaping : Help shape the design function by establishing processes, rituals, and best practices that support both velocity and quality.
