Were looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer with deep hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will lead the transition from traditional server-based environments to scalable, resilient, and automated cloud infrastructure, while supporting R&D teams with robust CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Architecture & Migration : Lead the design and migration of existing on-prem/server-based infrastructure to Azure-based cloud services, ensuring scalability, cost optimization, and security alignment.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

- CI/CD Enablement : Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to support rapid product development and R&D collaboration.

- Environment Management : Set up and maintain multi-stage environments (Dev, QA, Prod) with automated provisioning, monitoring, and rollback capabilities.

- Monitoring & Observability : Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, etc.) for proactive issue detection and system reliability.

- Security & Compliance : Collaborate with security teams to enforce DevSecOps practices, implement identity and access controls, and maintain compliance across cloud environments.

- Collaboration & Mentorship : Work closely with R&D and IT infrastructure teams to support development workflows, provide operational insights, and mentor engineers on cloud and DevOps best practices.

- Incident & Performance Management : Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive performance optimization of Azure services and CI/CD systems.

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

- Proven architecture and migration experience on Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, and serverless).

- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Git-based workflows, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

- Deep understanding of networking, identity management, and infrastructure security in cloud environments.

- Experience supporting R&D or engineering teams with automated testing and deployment workflows.

- Knowledge of SQL database and tools, capable of designing and improving performance

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

- Experience with MSSQL and data base operations.

- Experience with hybrid-365 /exchange Entra & Azure AAD.

- Familiarity with Terraform Cloud, Helm, or GitOps frameworks.

- Certification : Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.

- Knowledge of monitoring and cost optimization strategies in large-scale infrastructure.
