Purpose of Role :

To own and drive end-to-end technical solutioning during the pre-sales lifecycle by designing scalable cloud architectures across infrastructure, data platforms, DevOps, migration, security, and emerging technologies such as GenAI, enabling CloudThat to position itself as a strategic transformation partner.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead client discovery sessions and develop end-to-end solution blueprints across infrastructure, security, data, and application layers.

- Present architecture proposals in executive-level solution walkthrough sessions.

- Architect multi-cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP aligned to client business outcomes and technical constraints.

- Design multi-service cloud architectures spanning compute, networking, data platforms, DevOps pipelines, and security services.

- Apply the Well-Architected Framework to deliver secure, high-performing, cost-efficient, and resilient solutions.

- Create and review solution artifacts including SoWs, HLDs, architecture diagrams, proposals, and pricing estimates.

- Conduct feasibility and risk assessments to evaluate trade-offs between scalability, cost, and performance.

- Incorporate AI/ML, GenAI, and Data platform capabilities into presales solution designs where applicable.

- Participate in client-facing technical workshops, proposal walkthroughs, and executive briefings.

- Guide internal teams in aligning solutions with delivery feasibility, compliance, and long-term transformation goals.

- Guide presales teams in preparing technical proposals, architecture documentation, and pricing models.

- Stay current with emerging technologies including cloud services, modernization approaches, and AI/GenAI

Education Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

- MBA (Technology / Systems) - Optional

Work and Technical Experience :

Must have :

1. 7+ years of experience in presales solution architecture, enterprise consulting, or cloud transformation.

2. Experience in designing multi-cloud or hybrid architectures for enterprise workloads.

3. Proficiency with AWS/Azure architectural best practices across domains like networking, storage, IAM, and DevOps.

4. Experience with enterprise cloud transformation programs and migration frameworks, security design, and cloud automation.

5. Hands-on exposure to architecture tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio) and pricing calculators.

6. Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Good to have :

1. Experience in multi-cloud FinOps, cost governance, and commercial modelling.

2. Experience in regulated domains (BFSI, Healthcare, Government).

3. Familiarity with RFP processes, defense presentations, and partner ecosystems.
