Senior Java Developer (Product-Based Role)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in product-based environments and a solid product mindset. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend systems and contributing to real-world products used by customers.

Experience or exposure to AI frameworks or AI-enabled products will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend systems

- Work closely with product, AI, and engineering teams to convert business requirements into production-ready solutions

- Own features end-to-end: design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization

- Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making

- Ensure high performance, reliability, and code quality in production systems

- Continuously improve existing products with a strong focus on usability and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 6- 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development

- Strong experience working in a product company / product environment

- Excellent understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms

- Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services

- Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures

- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

Tech Stack :

- Programming Language : Java (Core Java, Java 8+)

- Frameworks : Spring, Spring Boot

- Backend : REST APIs, Microservices architecture

- Databases : PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB

- ORM : Hibernate / JPA

- Build & Version Control : Maven / Gradle, Git

- Cloud & DevOps : AWS / Azure / GCP, CI/CD pipelines

- Containerization (Good to Have) : Docker, Kubernetes

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to AI frameworks or AI-enabled product development

- Experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs into backend systems

- Familiarity with data-driven or intelligent platforms
