Role Overview :

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our applications. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, you will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. Your work will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of our products in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust and scalable automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and JavaScript to validate software functionality.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with developers to understand software design and identify potential risks.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of automation code.

- Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automation efforts.

- Perform API testing to validate the integration and functionality of backend services.

- Conduct database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of QA best practices and standards.

- Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement automated test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.

- Proven expertise in writing clear, concise, and maintainable JavaScript code.

- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.

- Experience with database testing and SQL.

- Solid understanding of Git for version control and collaborative development.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
