PracticeSuite - Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Role & responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web UI and APIs using industry standard frameworks.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test plans.

- Identify, document, and track bugs; work with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Continuously improve test processes, coverage, and execution efficiency.

- Contribute to building and maintaining a stable and scalable automation framework.

- Analyse test results, provide feedback, and support continuous integration and delivery efforts.

- Participate in regression testing and support release activities across multiple product lines.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation and manual testing.

- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, Java, etc.

- Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g , Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control.(Git).

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g , JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Location : Kochi, Kerala (Complete WFO).
