About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Power Automate Desktop (PAD) to design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflows, integrating enterprise applications, and optimizing business processes using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to automate complex business processes while ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Power Automate Desktop Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation workflows using Power Automate Desktop (PAD).

- Develop reusable automation components and maintain coding standards.

- Build attended and unattended desktop automation solutions.

- Optimize automation performance and improve workflow efficiency.

2. Microsoft Power Platform Development :

- Develop automation solutions using Power Automate Cloud.

- Create business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services.

- Leverage connectors and APIs to automate business processes.

3. Application Integration :

- Integrate automation workflows with: Microsoft Excel, SAP, Web Applications, Desktop Applications, Legacy Systems, File Systems, Databases, and Email Platforms.

- Develop API-based integrations where applicable.

4. Workflow Optimization & Support :

- Debug automation workflows and resolve production issues.

- Implement robust exception handling and logging mechanisms.

- Monitor automation performance and identify optimization opportunities.

- Perform root cause analysis for automation failures.

5. Testing & Deployment :

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Support deployment and production rollout activities.

- Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.

- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and development standards.

6. Collaboration :

- Work closely with business analysts to understand automation requirements.

- Participate in solution design discussions.

- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across automation projects.

Required Skills :

- Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate Desktop (PAD), Power Automate Cloud, Microsoft Power Apps, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Workflow Design & Development, Process Automation, Excel Automation, SAP Integration, Web Automation, Desktop Automation, Legacy System Integration, Exception Handling, Debugging & Troubleshooting, API Integration, Microsoft 365, SQL (preferred), JSON/XML (preferred).

Preferred Experience :

- 5 to 12 years of overall IT experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate Desktop (mandatory).

- Experience developing enterprise automation solutions.

- Experience integrating SAP, Excel, web-based, desktop, and legacy applications.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and Power Platform governance.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
