Role Overview :
As a Power BI Developer you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports that provide critical business insights to our clients. You will collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into compelling visualizations. Your work will directly impact the decision-making process, enabling our clients to identify trends, track performance, and improve overall business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements for various clients.
- Collaborate with data architects to ensure data models are optimized for Power BI reporting and analysis.
- Implement data refresh strategies and monitor data quality to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
- Utilize Power Automate to automate data workflows and report distribution processes, improving efficiency.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use Power BI dashboards and reports, increasing adoption.
- Contribute to the development of Power Platform solutions that integrate with Power BI, expanding our service offerings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to reporting and analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices, continuously improving our development processes.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex Power BI dashboards and reports from diverse data sources.
- Proven expertise in data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of Power Automate and its integration with Power BI for workflow automation.
- Experience in working with the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Adaptable to working in a hybrid work environment based in Bangalore.
Must-Haves :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- PMP certification (mandatory for Manager level).
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (development and data architecture).Experience in process documentation and optimization.
- Strong skills in data analytics and dashboard/reporting.
- Knowledge of project management concepts.
