Role Summary :

As Deputy Manager Automation Engineering, you will be responsible for leading project engineering and software delivery related to PLC/DCS-based control systems. You will oversee engineering deliverables, software design, testing, and site documentation. In this role, you will also drive continuous improvement, team capability building, and adoption of new technologies in industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities :

Ensure adherence to delivery timelines for :

- Application programming and testing of PLC/DCS systems (Schneider, Siemens, ABB, Emerson)

- Control panel design, build, and testing

- Preparation of site-specific engineering documents

- Operate, monitor, and continuously improve existing engineering and automation processes.

- Provide software-related support during commissioning and validation phases in collaboration with project teams.

- Develop and deliver technical training modules and conduct on-the-job training for new team members.

- Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and software platforms, including preparation of supporting documentation for integration.

Skills required :

- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle for DCS/PLC applications aligned with GAMP

guidelines.

- Experience working with software layers and knowledge of reporting tools.

- Hands-on expertise in PLC/DCS programming (Schneider, Siemens, ABB, Emerson) and associated software environments.

- Good understanding of industrial computer networks, virtualization concepts, and automation operating systems.

- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new platforms and technologies.

- Proven ability in team management, coordination, and project execution in a regulated environment.
