We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Python Developer / Lead with 68 years of experience with expertise in microservices design, DevOps, and code quality practices, who can lead a team of developers, design robust solutions, and drive key technical decisions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python development, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with modern frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Key Skills :

- Architect and develop scalable microservices using Python.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

- Drive code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure code quality.

- Set up and maintain automated unit/integration testing frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Business) to deliver features end-to-end.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments.

- Manage version control best practices (Git branching strategies, code merges, release management).

- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability across systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and drive continuous improvement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise :

- Strong expertise in Python (3.x) development and object-oriented programming.

- Experience with web frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Hands-on experience in microservices design.

- Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

- Experience in automated unit testing & test coverage tools (PyTest, unittest, CI test automation).

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

- Experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

- Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.

- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React/Angular) for full-stack awareness.

Preferred Skills :

- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and big data ecosystems.

- Event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Observability stack (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

- API gateways and service mesh (Istio, Kong, Envoy).
