Role Overview :

As a Playwright Automation Tester, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software applications.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Javascript, and related technologies.

Your work will directly impact the user experience by identifying and preventing defects, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Javascript to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects accurately and efficiently.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation framework and testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation, ensuring the stability and reliability of the test environment.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and share knowledge with the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrable ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Javascript.

- Proven expertise in writing clear, concise, and well-documented test cases.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Experience with Selenium WebDriver is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

- Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram.
