Platform Software Engineer - Embedded Linux & Kernel Programming

Job Title : Platform Software Engineer (Embedded Systems / Device Drivers)

Location : Chennai / Bangalore

Experience : 5- 10 Years

Job Overview :

We are hiring engineers with strong expertise in platform software development, Linux device drivers, and board bring-up. You will work on low-level system programming and hardware-software integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop Linux device drivers and platform firmware (U-Boot)

- Perform board bring-up and hardware integration

- Work closely with hardware teams for system-level integration

- Debug low-level system and kernel issues

- Improve system performance and stability

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in Embedded Linux & Kernel programming

- Hands-on experience in Device Driver Development

- Experience in Board Bring-up (QCA / MTK preferred)

- Knowledge of U-Boot / Bootloader development

- Experience with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, CAN)

- Strong C/C++ programming skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with Yocto / OpenWRT build systems

- Exposure to Ethernet MAC/PHY bring-up
