Role : Platform Engineer / Cloud Platform Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for a Python-based Platform Engineer who has strong experience in cloud platform development and architecture. The role focuses on building scalable, reusable cloud platforms and self-service solutions for developers and data teams. This is primarily a Platform Engineering / Cloud Development role rather than a traditional DevOps position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build developer self-service platforms and reusable cloud services.

- Develop scalable applications and platform components using Python.

- Design and implement cloud-native architectures on Azure or GCP.

- Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and cloud resource management.

- Design and manage IAM, authentication, and authorization solutions.

- Work on cloud networking including VPC/VNet, Private Endpoints, DNS, Load Balancers, etc.

- Build platforms that support application and data engineering teams.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver reusable platform capabilities.

- Take ownership of platform components as products and continuously improve their usability, scalability, and reliability.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong Python development experience - application development, not just scripting.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform.

- Strong knowledge of Azure or GCP cloud architecture.

- Experience in Platform Engineering / Cloud Platform Development.

- Knowledge of IAM, Authentication & Authorization.

- Good understanding of cloud networking - VPC/VNet, Private Endpoints, DNS, Load Balancers.

- Experience building reusable cloud services or developer platforms.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.

- Power BI platform administration experience.

- Experience with data platforms / data engineering.

- Experience building self-service platforms for developers or data teams.
